What is iCORE?
INTENSIVE CARE OBSERVATIONAL REGISTRY
The Intensive Care Observational Registry (iCORE) project is a coordinated effort to create a high-quality registry of critically ill patients, through a collaboration of academic and community health centers. There are currently 9 intensive care units (ICUs) from 7 different hospitals in the Greater Toronto Area participating in iCORE. We provide data on processes of care to inform and support continuous quality improvement (QI). The data can also be requested to conduct hypothesis-driven high-quality research in intensive care.
Project Goals

#1. Improve the Quality of Care in Ontario ICUs
Providing hospital stakeholders with information about the treatments and quality of care provided to the patients in their ICUs.

#2. Advance Knowledge in Critical Care Medicine
Answer hypothesis-driven research questions connecting patient care to patient outcomes.
